  11. 24/96 Faxmodems are utterly useless for data transmission, but just as
  12. useful as any other faxmodem when we just consider the fax'ing part of it.
  13. we have here a cute little 'FAXMODEM GFC' (it's all it says!), with this
  14. array of jumpers:

  30. At the moment, the modem responds to COM3, IRQ2. Any effort to decipher
  31. the jumper settings by trial-and-error renders the modem useless. I have
  32. concluded that there might bess less combinations in the Rubik's cube.

  34. I had originally thought the WAIT1/WAIT0 jumper positions may have been
  35. similar to Supra's methods for choosing a COM port, but this is not so.

  42. as such than a modem itself...)
